The Visonic Powermaster GT64 has all the features of the Powermaster 10, but also has the advantage of communicating using built in speech announcements. It is an insurance approved grade 2 wireless system that is packed with modern and user friendly features, such as:

• Voice Announcements of events (such as areas being opened and closed)
• Verbal reminders of zones being left opened
• Remote Control Operation (Arm, disarm and panic from up to 30 meters using your wireless remotes)
• App Controlled (You can control your system from anywhere using the free app)
• Built in panic alarm
• Built in telecommunication panel (rings up to 4 mobiles using your connected landline if triggered)
• Home and away arming settings (system can be part armed even when the homeowner is home)
• 12 hour back up battery

The touch screen can be used by any user and avoids the need for a code to disarm the system by using a proximity tag, although your user code can be used. As such, the touch screen is easy to use for older and younger users.

PIR or Passive infrared motion sensors use a pair of pyroelectric sensors to detect heat energy in the surrounding environment. They are designed to reliably detect people, large pets & other large warm moving objects.

Door Contacts are a simple and straightforward way to secure areas such as windows and doors, they are mainly used in entry points.

They are designed so a magnetic field opens and closes a switch inside the sensor, this then causes a countdown to start or an instant alarm is activated, depending on how it has been programmed by the installer.

Vibration detectors are the ideal devices to assist in preventing burglaries, they are generally used on windows, doors and other vulnerable areas.

The advantages of using vibration detectors:

• They are two in one devices, they can be used as contact devices, vibration detectors or both simultaneously
• Vibration detectors are usually programmed as preventative devices rather than reactive devices, ie. their main function is to trigger an alarm as soon as excessive force is detected in a specific area that it is protecting before a potential intruder manages to gain access to a property
• They are very flexible and be programmed specifically for different areas and the sensitivity can be heightened or reduced depending on the objective of the installation
• These detectors can remind you that windows or doors have been left open
• When an alarm is detected, the system will identify exactly which detector has been triggered

Dual Tech sensors are brilliant for rooms with a lot of glass and ideal for areas such as conservatories and garages that can fluctuate in temperature.

The dual technology sensor is very accurate and requires both heat and movement to trigger, thus avoiding false alarms.

The system can be set to Home Arm so the detectors referred to above are armed but the PIRs (Passive Infrared Detectors) are not. This is useful when you are situated in your property knowing that the outer perimeters of the premises are protected.

In addition to the detectors referred to above the PIRs in the entrance way/hall and rooms are also armed.
